The artist is pleased to share his works -- an autobiographical body of art that spans his lifetime.
Some images in this portfolio were created during the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic such as the four paintings in black and white and the painting of the face wearing a black mask.
As a filmmaker, producer, director and writer he has traveled extensively and recorded much of these travels in his volumes of sketchbooks, pen and ink drawings and oil paintings. His drawings, as you will notice, have a spontaneous quality, particularly as he captures people - individually and in groups.
The artist loves painting on site, as you will see - particularly in his beloved Sedona, where he has combined his skills in film making and art making to create his stunning documentary/art film, "The Artist and The Shaman". You will be provided a link (in the 'films' portfolio) to view this personal and very poignant spiritual journey.
It is not often that an artist is able to tell the story of his or her life, but Paul, over the last 25 years, has documented his world in line and color. A poet with pigment, he creates the joy of the moment.
He hopes you will enjoy experiencing his work as much as he has enjoyed creating it. And, to see the works in their original form, is undeniably more rewarding that seeing them on a computer screen!
